Writer, Conductor of Souls

Meaghan was born in February 1995 to Shaun and Lauren McDonough. She was raised in Chelmsford, MA where she attended Chelmsford High School, participating in Model United Nations, theater, and the school newspaper. After graduating, she attended Emerson College in Boston, MA where she continued to participate in writing-oriented extracurriculars while also working toward a writing-focused degree. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Writing, Literature, and Publishing in 2017. While the first phase of her career saw a focus on the digital space for trade publishing, she has since pivoted to working on producing world class technical documentation for software.
Meaghan lives in Winchester, MA with Ryan and their dog Shelly. She is still an avid reader and an aspiring (if out of practice) writer. When she's not busy planning a wedding, she's always looking for a new restaurant to try or the next adventure to go on with her partner and dog.

Internationalist, Iconoclast
Ryan was born in November 1993 to Mike and Marie Gannon, and grew up in Tolland, CT. After seventeen years of suburban life, he shipped up to Rochester, NY to get a degree in Computer Science from RIT. After graduating, he returned to New England to work various software engineering jobs and generally cause trouble in the greater Boston area.
In 2018, while living in Cambridge, he swiped right on a profile that "seemed cool", and the rest, as they say, is history. You can see the beginning of a new act of this story at our wedding in July 2025.
Ryan lives with Meaghan, and their dog Shelly, in Winchester MA. When he's not writing brilliant wedding-website bios, he enjoys video games, experimental music, boxing, and materialist dialectics.
